After a torrid 2010 which saw Li-Lo jailed, fitted with a SCRAM bracelet (again), allegedly drinking whilst wearing the SCRAM bracelet and then briefly jailed again, she can now look forward to a fresh start in 2011 (we hope).
And she's obviously feeling optimistic about things. Taking to her Twitter account on New Year's Day, Lindsay wrote: "Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
´The future depends on what we do in the present´ - Mahatma Gandhi... One step at a time..."
Her first step, it seems, is to move house. According to People.com, Li-Lo's stuff was moved from her West Hollywood apartment to a plush new home near Venice beach.
As luck would have it, ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson lives just across the road.
Oddly, Sam doesn't seem too happy about being in such close proximity to her ex.
When Hollywood.tv cameras spotted her leaving her own house, they asked her what she thought about it, to which she replied: "Trust me, it wasn't planned."
Nothing like being there for your newly rehabilitated friends, eh Samantha?
