Justin Bieber's lock of hair to be sold by Ellen DeGeneres

Justin Bieber's
Hair For Charity

Ellen DeGeneres got her birthday wish -- a lock of Justin Bieber's hair. Now Bieber and DeGeneres are teaming up to sell the tresses for charity and it's sure to be quite the hot commodity.
If you head over to eBay right now, you might hear a bunch of cyber-girls screaming their heads off. It's because Ellen DeGeneres is auctioning off her very own piece of Justin Bieber hair for charity.

Bieber presented his freshly sheared strands of hair to DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week and the host couldn't be more excited to auction off the locks on eBay -- even if it was supposed to be her birthday gift.
The Bieber hair is perfectly safe, encased in a special holder with the teen singer's signature! Cue screaming girls! The bidding war is already climbing and it's expected to reach a hefty amount. It looks like Ellen DeGeneres' charity, Gentle Barn Foundation, is going to get a very nice chunk of change to help "abused farm animals and children."
At this time, it looks like the bids are close to reaching the $7,000 mark. It was originally thought the bids had gone to $10,000, but due to a technicality in eBay registration, the bids were denied.
Justin Bieber's shorter 'do has been all the talk lately. A picture was recently tweeted from the set of his new video with Rascal Flatts.
What would you do with a lock of Justin Bieber's hair if you could score it? Is it more about donating to a good cause? Hey, it's a win-win situation if you ask us.
