2 GIRLS COMMIT SUICIDE OVER WAEC RESULTS

The recently released result by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) have claimed the lives of 2 Delta State female students that failed their
2012 November/December Senior Secondary School Certification Examinations (SSSCE) as they committed suicide in Asaba over their failure in their examinations.
City People learnt that the students committed suicide after checking their results on the internet and discovered that it was unfavourable to them.
It was learnt that the victims had written the examinations three times without passing their Mathematics and English Language subjects, which led them to resolve to terminating their lives through suicide.
It was gathered that the two students had struggled in vain to gain admission into the university in the last few years. The two girls were found dead in their various rooms after a search had been conducted.
