"The bitch is back and better than ever," the pop princess informs the public at large in a new cover story for V magazine.
"I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move your body in a different way," Spears explains. "That's what I want from the music I listen to."
Hence all the Black Eyed Peas and M.I.A. on her iPod.

"This record," she continues, "is for the clubs, or something you play before you go out at night. It's definitely my edgiest and most mature sound yet."
Allowing that Femme Fatale is both an "evolution" and a "revolution," Spears says the album "expresses where I am today as a woman and is an evolution of who I am."
A "femme fatale" is a woman "who is sexy and strong, dangerous and mysterious, cool and confident."
Sounds like Britney, bitch.
