It is no longer news that the eight edition of popular reality TV show Gulder Ultimate Search is starting soon.
But the new gist is that, R&B crooner Darey(i love this guy),has been chosen to join the almost perennial anchor man Bob Manuel-Udokwu in the jungle as co-anchor of the popular TV reality show.

The choice of Darey who was also involved the first ever Gulder sponsor Celebrity Ultimate Show may not have come to many as a surprise.
The soft talking had won the hearts of TV viewers with his calmness and leadership quality on th set of the celebrity show.
His calmness had taken him to the final where he lost to eventual winner, Announcing the emergence of Darey as co-anchor host of the GUS, Mr. Yusuf Ageni, Corporate Affairs Adviser, Nigerian Breweries Plc said “The choice of two hosts for GUS 8, as against having one anchor person, is part of the new concept of GUS. As we have mentioned, thirty contestants will compete for the grand prize in GUS 8.

The winner of the GUS 8 which has been themed ‘Contest of Champions’, according to organizers, will smile home with the sum of N7 million, a brand new jeep worth N10 million as well as N500,000 wardrobe allowance; while the first runner up will go home with N2.5 million.
This year’s edition, which will be staged at the Egbetua Quarters, Ososo Mountains in Akoko Edo, Edo State, will be the eighth in the series.
