Actress gets death threats over Bieber kiss

Teenage love can be a traumatic experience at the best of times, but getting death threats from fans of the boy you've been playing tonsil hockey with must make the whole experience even more harrowing.

So we feel for poor Disney actress Selena Gomez who's sparked a rash of poisonous messages on Twitter after she was pictured snogging pop moppet Justin Bieber on holiday in the Caribbean.

One of Justin's fans, who call themselves "Beliebers", wrote: "I'll kill you I swear on GOD!!!"

And another tweeted: "If you are the Girlfriend of Justin I will Kill you I HATE YOU :@ !!!"

While a third only slightly less worringly posted: "Roses are red, violets are blue, @selenagomez if you'll break @justinbieber's heart I'm gonna kill you'."

Neither Selena, 18, or Justin, 16, have issued any response to the tweets - which is probably wise.
