Angelina Jolie Visits Libyan Border—but Did She Really Incite a Riot?!

 
 If only there were more celebs like Angelina Jolie.The Oscar-winning actress traveled to the African country of Tunisia this morning to urge greater support for the more than 400,000 people who have fled violence and political unrest in neighboring Libya.

But now reports have surfaced her trip was cut short because her presence caused a riot in the wartorn region.
So did Jolie really have to hightail it home because of safety concerns? Read on to find out...

"I'm not aware of any security issues surrounding her visit," UNHRC spokesman Tim Irwin exclusively tells us of the riot rumors.
So back to the work at hand...
While in Tunisia, Jolie is calling for humanitarian access inside Libya that would provide food, assistance and medical supplies to citizens still in the country.
"The outpouring of generosity from the Tunisian people says so much for the future of this country," Jolie said in a statement issued by the U.N earlier today. "The international community has done well to reinforce Tunisia's remarkable relief effort. But with 2,000 people still crossing each day, we cannot let the funding dry up and need to sustain the momentum."
The Jolie-Pitt Foundation has also financed the evacuation of 177 persons and the purchase of an ambulance to aid injured Libyans crossing the border.
